Question 76. Beloved Dadaji, I am 25yr old male from hyderabad. Dadaji, you might know the late sri sri sivananda swami of rishikesh, Divine life society. In one of his books he gave a list of self realized souls in India.so that people can have their darshan and get guidance from them. In his list, your gurujis name is also there. so I am wondering if you could also prepare such a list so that spiritually thirsty people can get right advice from them rather than going to some fake gurus and get cheated. so please swamiji I want you to consider this request  - Prabhu Ksb On 12 August 2009

H.H. Swami Sivanand was a saint. I am only a seeker. It is only a saint who can recognise a saint. Hence the list provided by Sri Swami Sivanandji. A seeker can easily be duped. So let me not make an attempt to prepare the list suggested by you.

Question 77. I am a girl, 25 years of age. I am trying to do japa. Is it true that if you do japa certain number of times your wishes come true? Does God really listen to our prayers? I don`t feel connected to God while doing japa. I try to. But I am so numb within, I don`t feel anything apart from anger. The japa gives me peace at times, almost puts me to sleep. Is typing japa fine if one cant do it verbally?   - Dp On 13 August 2009

A magnet easily attracts iron needles and filings. But if a needle is covered by layers of mud, it will feel no attraction to the magnet. The needle needs to be cleansed before it can feel the pull of the magnet. As you doJapa, gradually your mind and inner instrument are cleansed. And, one day, you will feel connected to God. There are periods when you can not doJapaorally. You may then write--- or type--- the mantra. This is known as theLikhita Japa.

Question 78. When I do japa I get a lot of negative thoughts, I feel angry. I start behaving rudely with people around. Is this normal? I`ve been down with flu. I`m not well and been feeling really irritated. What does japa do exactly? I saw a dream during my 1.25L times japa. I woke up sad. I don;t remember what it means. Does it mean God gave me an answer to my prayers, hopes? Does it mean my wish won`t be fulfilled since I woke up sad?  - Dp On 13 August 2009

Some people do get negative thoughts when they do Japa. You must not give up doing Japa on that account. As you keep up the practice, the time will come, sooner or later, when you will sink deeper and deeper within yourself and, one blessed day, you will be blessed with a spiritual experience.

Question 79. Respected Sir, I seek your guidance on the issue of handling people whom we cannot relate with. There are many persons in society who use us thoroughly, sometimes to the extent that they take advantage of our good intentions and helping nature and hurt us much with their bad behaviour. Can we just stay away from such people and politely avoid them for good. How do we deal with such selfish people. Please help with your thoughts. Thanks S  - Sl On 13 August 2009

A similar question was asked of a holy person. His answer to the questionnaire was: what if God did to you what you intend to do to a fellow human being? How would you feel if God turned His face away from you? If you are a spiritual seeker, I would advice you to face every experience with love. Let the rule of your life be: face it with love! Let the other person behave how he likes. You must continue to treat him and deal with him in love.

Question 80. Dear Sir how to free oneself from black magic or evil tantra  - Sd On 15 August 2009

There are some who have acquired a knowledge of black magic and know how to deal with it. If you can contact one such person, he may be able to help you.
