Question 171. Hello Sir, I have been having a lot of emotional struggles when it comes to love. I recently got out of a relationship that went bad and I have no idea why to this day. I tried dating someone else but that did not work out either. How much longer will I have to go through this? I am a very good person, with a big kind heart and always giving, but i never get in return. When will I find love and be loved again? Please help, anything and everything will help. I appreaciate your help and your time!  - Michelle Maharaj On 21 April 2011

Keep on giving without expecting anything in return. What you give is a gift of the Lotus Feet of the Lord who has given you so much out of His boundless store. Don't expect love in return but keep on giving love: one day it is sure to return to you.

Question 172. By doing meditation can god be brought in these world as were done in past centuries.  - Mithun Chakraborty On 19 May 2011

God is the same that he was centuries ago. The difference is that centuries ago the meditation of the people was far deeper than it is today. Within us are levels of consciousness. When we touch a particular level, we behold God face to face. In our meditation today not many are able to touch that level. Whoever touches that level is sure to be blessed with a vision of God— the vision of the One-in-all.

Question 173. Vasnaon ka visarjan kaise karen. How did get rid from desires.  - Madan Pal Singh On 14 May 2011

Perhaps the easiest and simplest way to get rid of desires is to accept the Will of God at every step, in every round of life. Let us do our best to achieve the result we have in view. But if in spite of our best efforts we are unable to achieve the desired results, we should accept the situation as the Will of God.

Another way to get rid of desires is to repeat the Name of God. Mahatma Gandhi tells us in his autobiography that after he took a pledge of Brahmacharya, he was one day disturbed by desire. He had to repeat the Holy Name, Ram Ram Ram continuously for a period of 3 days before he could succeed in overcoming desire.

Question 174. Respected Sir, I want to ask for your help for my own self. I think and take every thing always negatively and even spots negativity in positive opportunities! I remain quite stressed because of this and most of the time it results in conflicts with people around me ! Please help me out.  - Archna Nayak On 13 May 2011

The choice is given to us at every step, in every round of life: either to have a positive or a negative approach to life. If we have formed a habit of reacting negatively to every situation, we can start right now by always adopting a positive attitude. We have to take care of our thoughts. If a negative thought wakes up in the mind within, we must push it out and tell it: “House full, there is no place for you.” It helps in throwing out the negative thought if we pinch ourselves or give ourselves a slap. We should be quick in throwing out the negative thought. It comes as a passer-by. It knocks on the door of our heart and asks to be let in. If we let it in, it will sit not as a guest but as a master.

Question 175. Thanks for answering my last query. It was really great help to me. It has been 10 months since I got married. Some times I get angry on my husband because I do not get support, love and care from my parents and siblings. I feel I don`t have anyone on this earth who loves me. Though I have got married and started working but I have not attained so much maturity. My husband ignores me for days and do not talk to me and removes his personal, physical and mental support. In the past for 10 years, I had stayed in disturbed atmosphere so whenever some thing happens, I get angry. Some times I feel, I had deserved a lot in marriage but not got what wanted. I want to increase my tolerance power and need peace, so that I can be emotionally independent and self sufficient.  - Nisha On 23 May 2011

You will get peace when you realise and keep on reminding yourself that whatever is happening to you today is due to your own karma. We have done certain things in the past of which we have no memory. Those actions are to be balanced. They happen to us and we wonder why such unfair things are happening to us. If we understood the working of the law of karma, we would not wonder but would rejoice that old accounts are being settled. For lack of this understanding we lose patience and feel angry and lose our peace of mind.
