My child who is 3 keeps falling sick‚ severer cough cold accompanied with high grade fever. His fevers lasts for 10 to 15 days . Even Antibiotics don’t seem to work on him. He has also been in and out of hospitals for the same reason and for gastroentitus too . His immune system is very weak . He is thalassemia minor and has had a febrile convulsions once i.e. one and a half year ago. I need help with improving his total health and appetite which is also very poor. Something that can strengthen his lower and upper respiratory track. Please help. - Lorna Devera My basic guideline will help a lot. Brown rice will help a lot. Avoid curd/yogurt. You can add some powdered Spirulina & awla to his diet besides all the plethora of natural organic foods available (consciousfood.com) Try your best to treat him with home remedies, ayurvedic medicine & good food. Let allopathy be your last resort. Ensure he gets morning & evening sunshine & fresh air & some greenery around him. The problem is that I feel very tired all the time. I have checked hemoglobine of my blood and it was 6.7. It was much higer when I wasn't a vegetarian (9.2). I do eat a lot of vegetable compared to what I ate when I wasn't a vegetarian. Could you please tell me what I can do to feel energetic again? Thank you in advance! - Siema Kishna If you have been a non-vegetarian all your life then you should be careful with switching suddenly to a vegetarian diet. How sudden was your switch ? Is milk still a part of your food plan ? You need to ensure that you eat a variety of whole natural foods & get enough sunshine. A typical diet of refined vegetarian foods does not supply the body with all its needs. Please see my idea of some diet essentials in the box on this page. I am not giving you a list of iron-rich foods because I am sure that other nutrients are missing from your diet too. Following my suggestions will surely put right your health but you may need to check your B12 levels especially if you have converted to vegetarianism in a short timeframe. Please look into it before you get into any further issues with your health. Do not waste time. Question 30. I am working in night shift for the past 5 years. My appearance to photo is not so good, what I should do for the better appearance. My skin is oily. Please advise. - Manjunath Govindappa Getting to the cause of any issue is the best way to find a solution. Working night shifts can put your body & mind under lot of stress. Is there no way you can do day shifts instead ? Read my basic plan in the box on this page.
