Question 6. Sir, I have partially torn my ligament (ACL) of my knee ,i am 23 yrs old ,i was wondering if reiki can help me heal the ligament, and when will I be able to resume my normal activities.   - Namita Menon On 9 December 2008

Healing can be instantaneous - depends on the beliefs of the healer and the healee, and the interaction between them.

You would need to look at what was happening in your life when the symptom began, and it would help to know if it is the right or left knee. If it is the right knee, you could look at issues of trust in a man, or trust in your will. It could then be something about keeping yourself from walking away from a situation in which you are not happy. If it is the left knee, you would look at issues of possible emotional dependency, or trusting yourself as a woman.

Question 7. Sir, I suffer from crippling Migraines and pain killers do not help anymore. Please advise how I can heal myself.   - Jaya Koganti On 15 December 2008

Sounds like crown chakra issues, related to something having to do with father / authority and/or feeling separated or isolated. As with any symptom, look at what was happening in your life when the symptom began.

If it is stuff with father, see what you can do about letting in his love - knowing he loves you, and accepting it.

Question 8. Hello Sir, please tell me what is responsible for our thinking? I always think negative . What I think to do, I feel I can not do it. I do meditaion also ,what is the best way to meditate?  - Asha Maurya On 12 January 2009

You are responsible for your thinking. You must understand that it is you who decides what to think and what to feel, and whether to choose negative thoughts or positive thoughts. When you accept this responsibility, you will see that when a thought comes, you can decide to pay attention to it o, or decide to place your attention on another thoughts that works better for you. You must also own your power, and replace all "I can't" thoughts with "I can" thoughts. Meditation will certainly help you develop a sense of mastery of your consciousness. Any kind of meditation is simply a focus of attention. You are asked tohold your attention on something, and if you find yourself distracted, ott re-direct your attention to the focus of attention, whether it is a mantra or a physical sensation (like just observing your breath, for example). Classes that can help you are offerred by the Silva Method, and also by Raja Yoga and by the Brahma Kumaris, whatever you can relate to best. See what kind of meditation makes the most sense to you.

Question 9. I am 21 and I have a ligament partial tear in the left knee. Its been 2 years now and the swelling is still there and that part has become very weak. Can you help me with this kind of a problem?   - Reddivari Siddhartha Reddy On 14 January 2009

Look at what was happening in your life at the time the symptom began, and how it could relate to you feeling insecure emotionally. Not standing on your own two feel with regard to your emotions. Was your relationship shaky at that time? These are the tensions you need to resolve.

Question 10. I am suffering from Polycystic ovaries. This was always the case with me since many years. What does it indicate at a spiritual level and i also wear glasses of -3 power. Kindly reply .  - Nisha Rohatgi On 16 January 2009

Cysts represent something held in and not expressed, and the parts of the body affected show what was held in and not expressed. Since the ovaries are clearly about sex and having children, see what tensions in relation to this need to be released. If it is about ambivalent feelings concerning sex, consider looking into tantra as a way of developing a joyous relationship with sex. The correction of -3 (Nearsightedness, I would assume) indicates that you have been looking at the world through an emotional perceptual filter of insecurity and fear. Look at what was happening in your life at the time your vision was affected, and see if it had something to do with your sexuality. If you are interested in improving your eyesight using tools of consciousness, check out my book and CD on the subject, published in India by Jaico Books.
