Question 16. Hello Doctor‚ I am 63 years old‚ had a heart attack in 1995 and now recently had a pacemaker and defibrillator implanted. My question is what can I do to help my heart. Thank you.  - Ruth Roy

Look at the area of relationships - people close to your heart - and what was happening in your life in these areas at the time the symptoms began. These tensions need to be released in favor of focusing on the love that is there. See yourself and others motivated by love, and sometimes reacting to the perception that it is not there.

Question 17. Thank you‚Martin for answering my questions. How can i aquire a peaceful smile like you. You have such a touching smile. Seems you have understood life. There are times when i suffer acute pain in my left.  - Sakshi Mehan

The pain in your left hear - look at what it hurts you to hear or listen to. What is it that you have been reacting to emotionally?

Stiffness in your shoulders could be about not expressing your emotions, and holding yourself back from going for your goals.

Clearly, you have been keeping yourself from feeling your emotions, and that doesn't work for you. The doubts reflect insecurity that needs to be replaced with confidence - and that is simply a choice you make.

Question 18. I get frequent aches in my knee. What could be the reason?  - Deepankur

Not standing on your own two feet with regard to either your Will (right knee) or your Emotions (left knee). Trust yourself and what you want to do.

Question 19. I have frequent headaches and migraine. What do i do?  - Sunny Sharma

Sounds like a sense of separation, isolation. I would recommend letting in the love of your father, and also looking at how you have been isolating yourself. You need to do something different.

Question 20. Can I meditate without a guru to feel more relaxed?  - Abhishek Dwivedi

Absolutely, yes. The Silva Method is about that - using relaxation techniques. It helps to have a guide initially, but then to be able to just do it for yourself. You can use focusing on your breathing, just watching yourself breathe, top take your attention away from your thoughts and practice being more present, as well as developing inner discipline.
