Question 1. Dear Sir,
I am never confident while facing an interview despite having qualifications of Post graduation in finance and commerce.Kindly suggset means and ways to prepare and face the interview and passout with flying colours - Tejas Joshi on 12 March 2013 Any interview is a process where the company is assessing your suitability for the position that you have applied for . Hence the first important requirement is to well prepared ; this itself will boost your confidence significantly .DO read the job description of the position that you have applied for & reconfirm your suitability for the same .I t will also be useful if you read about the company & be prepared to discuss the same .Last but not the least , rehearse some possible questions & their answers therof with a friend or seek professional guidance from a career counsellor. Question 2. Dear Sir,
I am working in a health care centre since 8yrs as Guest relation executive, I had done my MBA in HR and am interested in geting into the field of HR but as am a fresher to HR and am experienced in a different field its not matching and am not geting the job of my interest..
Is there any other course that you can suggest me which matches both my experience and education for my rich future?
Thanking You,
Regards,
Asha.S - Asha Ashok on 6 April 2013 A switch in function after 8 years of work experience is always a difficult task .I guess you have done your distance MBA in HR which unfortunately does not command a premium in the job market . Please approach smaller companies who may like to hire you for your dual expertise in HR & Guest Relations .You may seek jobs in the hospitality industry in hotels , hospitals , logistics companies & so on .The only course that can get an assured job would be to do a full time MBA in HR from a premium HR institute such as TISS , XLRI , MDI , & so on . Question 3. jai hind sir,i`m 20yrs old CA student. in nov`2012 i gave my first attempt of IPCC but all my efforts were useless. i have good academic records but i`m broken due to this failure. i lost my confidence..now i don`t wanna study. i live in hostel and don`t have sumone near to me to guide, support not even to talk. help me to get me my concentration & cofidence back. - Ajay Mitra on 30 March 2013 Jai Hind !! The most important thing to remember in life is to never lose your CONFIDENCE !! The CA course is one of the toughest courses & hence they allow multiple attempts .SO cheer us & start preparing for IPCC once again .You may meet a career counselor in your city for guidance or speak to the local CA chapter members who could guide you .You can connect to them via www.icai.org .I would recommend that you try YOGA & MEDITATION to improve concentration. Always remember BE POSITIVE !! |
