Handwriting Analysis - Different Strokes
by Mansee Vashist
Has it ever occurred to you that changing a few strokes in your handwriting can help you heal your vital relationships and restore you to happiness? Sounds far-fetched, right? Nevertheless, it is true.
Vipul was unhappy in his marriage. He had a bad temper and always felt that his wife didn’t understand him. She, on the other hand, found him reserved and unwilling to open up. Vipul never forgot an offence and found it difficult to forgive others. The couple hardly communicated. By practising graphotherapy, Vipul was able to heal himself and his relationship transformed. Today he is a warm, affectionate person with a pleasant temperament.
Hemlata was having a tough time coping with her office environment. A loner, she was simply not able to get along with her colleagues.
Bijen was not able to understand why after being friendly with him for a while, people moved on and avoided him. He was not able to understand that he was not giving space to people. He almost imposed himself on them.
All these people used graphotherapy as a tool to address the personality traits which hampered their relationships with others.
While graphology is the art of handwriting analysis, graphotherapy helps us to heal the limitations and defects in our style in order to bring out positive changes in our lives. The strokes we make while writing, slants, loops, spacing, margins, pressure exerted, and other aspects of our handwriting reveal our personality, and behaviour patterns. Our handwriting is controlled by our subconscious mind, the seat of our deeply entrenched habits and behaviour. To change our handwriting therefore, we must reach the level of our subconscious and create the necessary change, by working on creating new neuro pathways.
As we learn, practice or repeat things, messages travel from one neuron to another and the brain starts to create connections, called neuro-pathways, between the neurons. Each time an act is repeated and we experience the same thing, the neuro-pathway is made stronger and thus a habit are established. The act of repeatedly writing by hand or making a specific pattern change develops neuro-pathways, thus bringing the changes in the individual. Try the accompanying exercises to heal some of the issues that may prevent harmonious relationships. Do keep the following points in mind: Purpose: Managing Anger Purpose: To address irritation and impatience, develop harmonious relationships Purpose: To develop bonding, happiness and cheerfulness in our relationships • Do not attempt too many changes in one go. Take up either one exercise at a time or take up exercises for interrelated traits. • Cultivate the discipline of daily practice or else you will not get results. Practice for at least four weeks daily for changes to occur. If you discontinue inbetween, start the four-week practice all over again • Listening to music and doing graphotherapy at a fixed time everyday brings results at a faster pace.
• It is always advisable to take up graphotherapy under the guidance of a graphotherapist.
