Fajgenbaum's mother Anne Marie died of a brain tumour in 2004. A few days before her death, he promised her he would help students who also suffered with a sick loved one. The High School ex-student has done that and more. Fajgenbaum, now a junior at Georgetown University, created Students of Ailing Mothers and Fathers last year. The group offers support to students who are dealing with a sick or deceased loved one.
