by Life Positive
The happy ‘wedlock’ of medicine and spirituality is the goal of NADA (New Age Doctors’ Association), a division of The World United founded by Dr G R Yugandhar, a surgeon from Hyderabad.
The third convention on Continued Medico-Spiritual Education was held on April 26, the theme being ‘Optimising Health and Happiness at Individual and Work Places.’ The speakers were a mix of doctors, scientists, spiritual leaders, corporate trainers, environmental enthusiasts, and government officials.
Dr Yugandhar, in his talk on Transformational Medicine, spoke about the method of permanent cure, as opposed to alleviation of symptoms, by inner transformation, which is by reprogramming the psychological / emotional software within each individual to make all individuals responsible for themselves.
Dr Rajan EG, a retired IIT professor and founder president of Pentagram Institute spoke on the Brain Computer Interface. By monitoring an individual’s thought patterns, and capturing brain activity on a computer; the person can reprogramme the pattern by changing the emotions and thoughts.
Sailaja showed the results of field experiments on channelling energy to plants, right from energising the seeds and ground before planting, to energising the water and sending positive vibes during the growing stages.
M Venkata Reddy of Government Vemana Research Institute, in his talk on ‘Yoga for Cyberspace,’ recommended meditation and yoga to cure ailments like carpal tunnel syndrome, computer-related vision problems, and internet addiction disorders. Other talks ranged from ‘Yoga for the Self,’ and the ‘Arihat Healing Yoga of Synthesis,’ to man’s relation with the cosmos; along with presentations on naturopathy, mantra meditation, tips for building good relationships with one’s own self, mental housekeeping, and the Law of Attraction.
