News - Become a craniosacral therapist
by Life Positive

A patient undergoing the Craniosacral therapy
It made it very difficult for her to perform her daily tasks. A friend recommended the name of Craniosacral therapist Zia Nath to her. Desperate to find a
cure, Meera walked into her first
session, limping. But one
Craniosacral therapy session was
enough to relieve her pain and
make her walk straight. Now her
back is straighter and she can
exercise daily. “Craniosacral therapy
has worked miracles for me,”
she beams.
Human life and health is
dependent upon the Craniosacral
system within the
body. It has
recently been medically
acknowledged
as a natural, continuous
body rhythm that
promotes and maintains
life in the body
(along with the respiratory
and circulatory
systems). Zia Nath is
a practitioner of the
Craniosacral therapy
since 12 years in
Mumbai. For those who not only
wish to benefit from this amazing
technique but also wish to learn it
as a viable and effective healing
tool, Zia, Proprietor of Quanta
Health Care Solutions is organizing
the two year Diploma,
Foundation Training in Biodynamic
Craniosacral Therapy, Mumbai,
from January 2013.
This training will be conducted in
14 modules over two years.
It shall be taught by Bhadrena
Tschumi Gemin and Kavi Gemin.
from the Institute of Craniosacral
Balancing – Switzerland. The students
will be supported with intern
training to prepare them for therapeutic
clinical practice.
“The Craniosacral rhythm can be
felt all over the body as a slow,
subtle wave-like motion. This
rhythm is caused by the circulation
of the cerebrospinal fluid,
which bathes and nourishes the
brain and nervous system. By gently
touching areas of the head and
body a practitioner can tune into
the rhythmic fluctuations, working
on it therapeutically,” says Zia
Nath.
Since a practitioner uses gentle
touch and a receptive perception
to palpate the fluidic fluctuations
of the body and the client lies
down fully clothed in a restful
position it is a very convenient
tool for both the therapist and the
patient. “Due to its gentle nature it
is received well by infants, children
and the elderly,” says Zia.
Commenting on the range of diseases
that can be healed through
the Craniosacral therapy she adds,
“I treat diverse health conditions.
From typical spinal disorders, slip
discs, cervical strains, frozen
shoulder – to supporting women
with endocrinal imbalances and
hormonal problems. I also treat
people with migraines, insomnia,
acute digestive stress, chronic
fatigue, chronic pain syndromes.
