Heenal flaunts her Indian background with panache and is justifiably proud to be the youngest doctor in Britain and hopes to be a surgeon one day. This month she will join the University College London Hospital. The young girl is extremely proud of being an Indian as it reflects traditional values. She recalls her disciplined upbringing and how she always studied more than her British peers would. Not just another desi kid on the block, Heenal's personal success story defines how multi-culturalism became her strength. She can read, write and speak Gujarati fluently, is highly patriotic and says that the sari is her favourite attire. She describes herself as hardworking and strong-willed, with the carefree, happy-go-lucky nature of an Indian. It helped that she was focused in her studies and what she wanted to do in life but says that disciplining the mind did not come easy. Britain has strict age rules in their education system and when she broke records at 16, many doubted if she would make it, but she did, bringing fame and glory not just to herself and her family but the entire country. Heenal also has time to be a regular fun-loving kid too. Her lively Facebook page has her favourite quote, "When there is faith there is no fear." The faith paid off and she hit the headlines.
