Is not what I aspire.
I want a life, and to live it too.
I don’t want to just pass through.
I want to leave my memories behind.
At least a footprint on the sands of time.
My music should echo in someone’s ears.
My laughter should wipe away someone’s tears.
A purpose, an aim, a goal to follow,
Not in self-pity should I wallow.
A challenge, a risk, a game, a race,
Winning hardly matters, I am worried about the pace.
A dream it is to fulfil this wish
Because either you persevere or you perish!
