All is well: Delegates at the IHF conference A Myth or Reality in Nagpur on February 12-13 2011. The event was organised by the IHF in collaboration with the Indian Federation of Spiritual Scientists, Bangalore, and New Age Doctors and Healers Association. The conference was attended by holistic healing practitioners, healers, doctors, psychotherapists and educationists interested in holistic models of health including Brahmarshi Patriji, founder, Pyramid Spiritual Society Movement, Bangalore, Padma Bhushan Dr BM Hegde, the former vice-chancellor of Manipal University, Dr Ravi Tulia, a holistic physician from New Delhi, James Boag from the United Kingdom, Shashank Katti, a renowned music therapist from Mumbai, Soorya Yogi from Kerala, Dr Ved Prakash Mishra, the vice- chancellor of Nagpur University, Guru Jiten Kholi, the president of the Laughter Club from Delhi, Dr Surendra Dass, president, IHF, from Nagpur, Ameli, from the USA and hospitality entrepreneur Vithal Kamat from Mumbai. The conference had Padamshri DR Karthikeyan, president, World United and Life Positive magazine as the guest of honour.

All the plenary sessions were beautifully conducted by Dr Sara Chimthanawala,secretary, IHF. In the IHF's cultural programme, Kamna Dass enthralled delegates with a spiritual dance while Abhilasha Dass presented a contemporary dance piece. This global conference is the third mega event of IHF. The first and second conferences were held in January and July 2010. IHF conducts regular healing sessions, lectures and workshops in Nagpur and different parts of the country. Holistic therapies propagated by the IHF include naturopathy, homeopathy, ayurveda, attitudinal healing, reiki, pranic healing, creative visualisation, dynamic meditation, breathing, mantra healing, tai-chi-chi-kung, and biorhythm. It was founded by Dr Surendra Dass, the president.
