News - Walking to the White House

by Life Positive

At age 11, Zach Bonner, came up with the idea to walk for charity in 2007, and has hiked nearly 300 miles from his home near Tampa to the state capital, Tallahassee.

. Last year, he walked another 270 miles or so from Tallahassee to Atlanta. Now, he is walking to the White House, collecting donations and letters from people urging President Barack Obama to take more action to alleviate homelessness among children.

“My plan is to help as many kids as I can, have fun and keep it simple,” he says on the website, www.LittleRedWagonFoundation.com
