Strengthening the Aura
o Learn and practise
aura cleaning exercises like Reiki, Pranic healing, etc. They 'police'
life energy and block negativity from entering our physical body.
o Don't skip that daily bath! Water, the most rejuvenating of elements, cleanses the body, mind and soul. It sustains us and rebalances our
life energy. You may also bathe in saline water (avoiding the face), for salt is renowned for its cleansing properties. Drink plenty of water too.
o Clothing and colour contribute to a healthy aura. Dark colours tend to absorb
life energy and lighter colours reflect it. Wearing black or dark colours everyday can attract any type energy, whereas lighter coloured clothing reflects the energy of others while keeping our own energy insulated.
o Adhere to the usual
health advice - regular exercise, a healthy diet, enough rest and relaxation, no smoking or drugs and very moderate or no drinking will help your
aura stay free of blockages.
o Limit the time you spend in close proximity to electromagnetic fields. Sit further from the television and don't leave electrical equipment on in the bedroom, even on 'standby' - these energies are harmful and can weaken your energy field over time.
o Connect with nature. Natural energies, particularly from trees, can really perk up your aura. Take a walk by the sea, a river or the hilltop at every opportunity.
o Places of worship, ashrams and other spiritual places are high in pranashakti. That's why people throng to these places and feel a sense of peace.
o Stay grounded. Visualise roots growing deep down into the earth from the soles of your feet. Being 'well grounded' offers a great deal of protection.
o Carry a symbol of protection that is meaningful for you, such as a cross, a Ganesha, a Swastika, an Om or whatever. A paper representation will do, but you may prefer a piece of jewellery.
o Visualisation is a powerful technique to strengthen the aura. Visualise a shower of light running through your
aura and dissolving any negativity. You can also imagine a bubble of positivity surrounding and protecting you at all times.
o Last, but the least negotiable: Pray and meditate regularly. They purify the body, mind and spirit, help us focus on the positive, and attract positive energy.
