Employers need to take just two easy steps * Appoint a person with disability * Inform the concerned EPFO/ESIC office in the prescribed proforma, with a valid Disability Certificate of the employee.
Disabilities to enable them to lead a life of independence and dignity. Reservation for them in appointment in Government establishments is already a statutory requirement.
Employers in the Private Sector, who have a social responsibility to provide employment opportunities to persons with disability, now also have an incentive to do so.
The Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, will bear employer's contributions under EPF Act (except administrative charges) and ESI Act for three years, for every person with disability appointed on or after 01.04.08 with a monthly wage not exceeding Rs. 25,000/-.
