What would a person do if he had no vocation in life? Work is what sustains us, gives us a sense of self-worth and helps us to chisel our identities for ourselves. We choose to pursue a calling, which actuates our expectations for us—either one that brings in the mullah by the bushels or that which enriches us spiritually. Which is why, it is necessary to figure out what we are best at and what we love doing. For it is then and only then that work transcends toil and becomes an expression of your life. Corporate Management On the face of it, corporate management and holistic growth may seem irreconcilable, especially since so much of wheeling and dealing is required in the management front. This difference is, however, merely of focus and is otherwise illusory, as holistic growth is gradually becoming an integral part of management the world over. Success Achieving success is almost like finding God—the destination is the same, but the roads are as varied as the seekers. Work What does work mean? Is it just a means to earn your livelihood? Or is it an expression of your perception of life? If so, then, while choosing your career, should you go by what's lucrative, or by your inner instincts and aptitudes? | ||
