War

In every cycle of human progress we have wars to remind us of the fragility of human endeavors and of the life force asserting against the nihilism inherent in wars. Like Homer’s Iliad—a saga of heroism and chivalry—Mahabharata, an epic war between the two factions of an Indian dynasty, portrays the fabled tussle between the good and evil forces. Srimad Bhagavad Gita is a poetical rendition of the necessity of this struggle in life.
