Sandeepany
Sadhanalaya Situated on the outskirts of Mumbai, the Powai Lake, on a
seven-acre picturesque site is this modem Gurukul. With a temple in its precincts
dedicated to Lord Jagadeeswara, the Sadhanalaya enjoys the grace of Lord Shiva.
Here, dedicated workers are trained in Vadantic texts with traditional thoroughness.
The course is in English and of about 30 months. This is run by the Tara Cultural
Trust. Many trained students are already in the fleld in diffferent parts of the
country and abroad.
Sandeepany (Himalayas) This institution at Sidhabari is run by Chinmaya
Tapovan Trust. Workers are trained (in Hindi media) in Vedanta and to teach Tuisi
Ramayana to the masses. Besides this, training of nurses for the rural areas is
being organized. A Hari Hara Vocational School is also conducted for the poorest
of the poor.
