Carcenogenic. *Chlorpyrifos is a Genotoxic – changing the structure of DNA.
This study suggests that these pesticides have the capacity to alter the
genetic material particularly chromosomes in mammalian cultures. Malathion –
known for hindering transmission of signals to brain the result is Addiction to
it. It is a mosquito control
pesticide which has been shown to have serious health effects upon
humans. Observed effects include weakening of the immune system
(thereby resulting in increased colds, flu and infections), birth defects,
genetic damage, accelerated aging of certain body organs, increased
neurological damage to the elderly and serious harm to wildlife. This

looking into the Packaged & Preserved juices being sold by many companies.
The chemicals are added (Though upto the prescribed limits by the Health
Departments, but still) to make them palatable, stable, homogenous etc. The
Synthetic flavors are commonly added.
Some common Nutritional values are also mentioned on the pack but mainly
they are Calories, Proteins, Fats, Carbohydrates & Vitamin C. Reading
carefully one can see in the ingredients list – Water, Fruit Concentrate,
Sugar, Fruit Pulp, Citric Acid & Ascorbic acid (Synthetic Vit C).There is
no mention about the quantity of fruits used to get the concentrate or pulp of
those fruits. Even the quantity of concentrate or pulp is also not stated. So
we don’t know how much quantity of actual fruit juice we get in a container of
one liter. Here again we can well judge the economy part of it. After all, the
cost of sugar, water, container, printing, stationery, labor, commission of
distributor, wholesaler, retailer & profit of the company are all to be
borne by the consumer.
