Its velocity is at times recorded as normal person approximately 14 to 20 cycles. This involuntary activity helps body to perform needful physiological function with harmony among vital organs and all surrounded limbs. The normal airway consists of nose with nasal sinuses, pharynx, larynx, trachea, tracheobronchial tree, and diaphragm and intercostals muscles. The upper thorax cavity can at times be used as a part of airway. It has been observed in children and infants that they breathe through the nose with bio-structural help of complete abdominal relaxation that is technically known as complete involvement of diaphragm. How ever in unconscious adults breathing due to some stress, tension, depression, phobia, worries and anxiety airway pressure generated as a result of breathing gets dissipated by the passage of air through the whole respiratory track. This type of mental state is prone to lose inherent physiological harmony of normal breathing pattern which can be reversed by training to an earlier one employed during childhood. We have observed several advantages of conscious abdominal relaxing as compared forceful intervention of thoracic breathing. In our centre of Introspective Rejuvenation Research Centre Mumbai, over the period of last 21years all the trainees were instructed to observe their breathing process, note down their frequency and asked to consciously relax their diaphragm (Whole abdominal relaxation). They were also interrogated regarding the change of frequency of breathing cycle, intervention of complete thoraces region, level expansion and contraction of all thoraces lobs. We observed several advantages in pursuing this NEO yog Vayu Abhayas some of the salient ones are as follows. Instant easiness of thoraces area leads to easiness through out in the brain-body-system o Experienced calmness, peacefulness & difference in constipation (bowels evacuation) o Episodes like tiredness, stress and tension were instantly managed better o Anger, anxiety, worries, suppression, depression and phobia are manageable o Ensure more bio-control on respiratory system and toning up diaphragm and other respiratory muscles. o It was natural inherent massage relaxation to voluntary and involuntary organs (Some of the probable benefits which require further studies are as follows) o Even ECG abnormalities are known to get reversed by Neoyog Vayu Abhyas - The advantage of Neoyog Vayu Abhyas in terms of relative increase of slower EEG frequency and subjective relaxation can be achieved by this technique of abdominal relaxing.
