Subject:- Naturopathy: The self care system

Nature Cure is a simple, non-invasive and inexpensive system of medicine. It teaches in detail the laws of healthy living. Naturopathy believes health can not be sold in a market, available in bottles with doctors and chemists. Diseases are just like darkness which can never be destroyed by the most powerful weapons of the world. The only solution is to bring the light of healthy living. So, naturopathy teaches the simple natural laws of healthy living like- What to eat? How much to eat and drink water? Proper way of breathing, Exercise and Positive Mental Attitude, etc. Thus, enhancing our vitality and the immune system. Nature Cure believes no medicine has that curative power which is only inherent in our body. Our vital force has all the capacity to sustain, maintain, heal and to make all the medicine in the body, if we live according to nature's laws.

In naturopathy, the approach towards disease is also very simple. Germs and bacteria are not the cause of disease, but it is the unhealthy lifestyle which leads to the accumulation of toxin in the body, and toxins are considered to be the primary cause of all the diseases. Detoxification and purification of the body is the only cure which is done in a very natural way by the help of natural foods and the five basic elements of nature, i.e., Air, Water, Fire, Space and Earth are used scientifically in the treatment of diseases. Thus, it guarantees excellent recovery to health.

Naturopathy has two parts:

• Natural Laws of Healthy Living
• Treatment of Different diseases- acute, chronic and fatal diseases.

These natural laws and the purification are so simple, even a child or a layman can remain healthy as well as cure his diseases. No doctor is required to remain healthy. Gandhi ji was an ardent follower of naturopathy because it makes a person self-sufficient. Thus, it is a self-care system and guarantees the hundred years of healthy life.

  • Mud therapy
  • Exercise / Yoga
  • Positive thinking
