When we pursue happiness, it eludes you. However, when you recognise that happiness is the natural state of the soul, all you need is to eliminate all that comes between your happiness and you.
Today, more and more seekers seek to explore from all faiths, connecting to the core purpose in all, in the process becoming much more connectedness to each other. At another level, organisations that promote inter religious understanding are becoming a forum of togetherness, finding commonalities at both the individual and societal level.
While individuals are finding truth from various paths, at the societal level, many organizations are working in this area and these are manifested in inter religious dialogues and discussions.
The spirit of both is to understand and practice what Swami vivekananda said in his historic speech in 1893, “Every system has produced men and women of the most exalted character. In the face of this evidence, if anybody dreams of the exclusive survival of his own religion and the destruction of the others, I pity him from the bottom of my heart, and point out to him that upon the banner of very religion will soon be written, in spite of resistance: "Help and not Fight", "Assimilation and not Destruction," "Harmony and Peace and not Dissension."
