Parmarth Niketan, tucked away in the idyllic Himalayan hamlet
of Rishikesh in northern India, Muniji, as he is affectionately
called, discharges numerous social duties relentlessly. Least
among them was the task of supervising the entire compilation
of the mammoth tome—Encyclopaedia of Hinduism.
