SORCERY & SHAMANISM

INTRODUCTION

The tribal traditions believed that shamans or sorcerers were healers who communed with the spirits of the ancestors for the overall well-being of the tribe. They were also supposed to be people capable of working with the elements and evoke their powers. Today, New Age is recognizing this ancient tradition for its wisdom and spiritual awareness.
