Subject: anjali mukherjee
This is in response to Minals post on Anjali Mukherjee: So that explains why Anjali Mukherjees recommendations on food and lifestyle are so wide-ranging--connecting Patanjalis wisdom to that of nutrition science. Mukherjee could attain such dimension in her columns probably because she escaped the straitjacket of a structured course. Mukherjees columns were the bible of our family in the 1990s when we could read them in Lucknow Times. She is one person who has changed each our lives making each one of us healthier and happier because we followed almost 80 per cent of her recommendations to the T. To give you one example, my father, who is 81, is back from a walking holiday from the hills of Munnar in the Nilgiris. He could avoid surgical intervention of the prostrate gland because the family followed Anjali Mukherjees advice on prostrate and bran. I dont care what degrees she brandishes. I have high regards for her wisdom. We in our family owe our happiness to Anjali Mukherjee.
