Subject: nice article
very nice article.Speaking from the viewpoint of a student, what you have said is more important than ever right now, as so much of our population is so young. It would be nice if there was more friendly competition amongst students, instead of the marks-fuelled war that we usually see. It must be remembered that marks are only a tool for evaluating knowledge, and must be viewed as such, rather than a criteria of success or failure in life. It is disheartening to see so much effort get wasted in this futile endeavour. Globalisation has meant that future generations will have to compete in the global market. To do so effectively, each one of us needs to develop our knowledge in the area that excites us the most.....the reality is that there is a lot of competition, but the solution is not just marks.
