The Contented Life Comments

Subject: An insightful article that woke me up.
I found this article to be enormously provocative and personally very helpful. Most of the ideas ring true for me. This article clearly articulates how we have all been waiting for relief from recession, wars, disappointing circumstances, and all the other angst that visits the thoughtful human being.

I try to surround myself with inspirational books as a shield, including C.J. Good’s - Little Gifts of Sustainable Contentment. I keep a copy in my briefcase. In refreshing, candid tones, the author points me in the right direction, and I willingly follow. This book helped me to find my own strengths, and even more significant, find meaning and purpose in my life by applying those strengths. Happiness and contentment can be the by product from reading certain books and articles such as this. Making the investment of time and thought necessary to read and apply the concepts is a most rewarding investment indeed. I was searching for satisfaction, in work and in love, and this lovely book was my generous, kindly, clear, and forgiving guide.
