| Subject: Understanding Fears |
| I have only two days reading about Vedas. Swami wrote the first article I read. I find my self deeply congruence with what he wrote. Here is my new point of view regarding fears. Be patient reading please. Only the “I” can open his mind to grap the knowledge that the “I” already is the complete limitless, fearless, “I”. Fighting, questioning, doubting, and uncertainty regarding this what has been said is ignorance and misunderstanding of ‘what is’. Fighting, questioning, doubting, ucertainty only blurs and creates a shadow that hides the light from our eyes. In order to believe one is already a complete fearless being, one has to be willing to prove and test without “fear” the words and message wich has been told. Fear is present in testing that we already are fearless beings. Fear of failing the test that we already are this fearless being. With this fear present in ourselves we are likely to fail the test. And we prove ourselves fearfull again! Paradoxically the only way of removing “fear” is testing without fear! and sucessfully passing the test. Understanding this paradox, grasping its deepest message shall be an aid in the removal of fear itself. We can say that “fear” is present in testing that you already are a fearless being! Cause the “I” remains uncertain, questioning, and doubting that already “is” fearless. What do the “I” Fears? What is the root of this fear? -Read Swami article again, it has the common fears. And in my case: -Damage ego -Fear of loss -Fear of failure -Fear of awkardity -Fear of not adequate -Fear of feeling un-complete -Fear of our own punishment and harrasment -Fear of losing the sucessful posibility of success, which I could be sucessful later on when the I finds itself complete. “Ignorance and misunderstanding” are the creators of the irrational Fear. Therefore knowledge and only knowledge could dissipate this fear by giving light to the issue that has been covered by, this somehow irrational, “Fear”. I can write that whatever and everything that stems from fear has a less positive result that if it stems from understanding and knowledge. The natural “I” feels the need to understand its nature, its true nature. Sometimes “I” needs so hard to understand, that we misunderstand and then we believe we understand!! “I” feels the need of completeness and adequacy. I need to understand what really means “not to fear”. “I” respond to fear with aggressiveness or passiveness. I misunderstood what “not to fear” really is. The feelings of braveness, aggressiveness, courage* stem from ‘Fear’ itself, from the misunderstanding of what “not to fear” really means. Shining the Light on to the ‘Fear’ and seeing through it, I can see that what I fear are the negative consequences of whatever thought or action I may have or do. Uncertainty, ignorance, the lack of knowledge and negativity, govern the consquences I preceive that will stem from my actions. Unacceptable consequences, undesired consequences are what the human really ‘Fears’. This perception blocks or stops the “I” to do things without fear. Fear is present! Realizing, understanding that we can continue living and feeling complete, fearless, regarding whatever consequence stems from our true human benevolent actions, regarding the negative or positive results of our actions can be an aid in moving forward. Realizing that “Fear” is stopping us from living, from sharing, from various activities, from feeling complete and adequate, we may come to realize that “Fear” is the only thing we should really Fear. Realizing that “Fear” is only misunderstanding and ignorance may be an aid in removing this irrational Fear. Fearing to enter a room fool of hungry Lions and aggressive animals is another kind of Fear, which everyone should have, if he wants to continue living healthy. Bottom Line: We already are fearless beings, we are complete beings, what we fear is misunderstood and uncertain about. Only the truth, only knowledge can release us from this irrational fear. >>To obtain the knowledge that could release us from fear I have been reading a lot about, from many different perspectives, realizing that searching for fearlessness was and endless road, until I realize that I already am, I am complete. I can not find fearlessness outside of myself. Its my nature. ‘Fear‘ itself is only misunderstanding and lack of knowledge of myself. Knowledge required to release us from fear is with ourselves, only has been in the darkness for long time. Knowledge is not discovering something new, its already here with us. Fear of the negative consequences of what you are planning to do is stopping you from doing it? Blocking you from doing it? From saying it? From thinking it? From feeling it? Then You have to fully understand that we already are complete fearless human beings. That the fear you have is misunderstanding and the lack of knowledge. That this fear is what causing you to speak in a very soft voice, to talk the way you do, and many more... Irrational fear can only stop you from living gracefully. Fear the consequences? Fear the consequences of not doing nothing at all! Fear the consequences of living with Fear! |
