| Having just completed 54 years of a successful relationship I will give my take. I use the word successful for I have been this in life as it relates to the subject to the extent I am loved by my three children, grandchildren, and more, my wife of all these years. Love is the measure of life. We are created with volition and personalities the secret of relationships is being able to give up self. True love asks for nothing in return and the gift of love is a volitional act. |
