| Subject: blocking creativity |
| Thankyou for helping me to understand more about myself. I have been creative all my life but recently turned away from my imagination and closed the door on creativity. I unknowingly created turmoil for myself. The reasons were that I was fearful of other peoples judgements (thinking I should conform to society expectations) I began to clean my house/yard obsessively and make that important. my self worth plummeted. My lesson:My creative self is a Large part of me and not to ignore it: Let your UNIQUE self shine. The minute I put my chattering mind to rest and said to myself just be yourself the creativity and joy in my life came flooding back and my confidence restored. |
