Last month I went to the scared Machu Picchu mountain city. The guide told us that Inas are worshipers of Mother Nature, they called Pachamama and symbolised by three steps for three worlds. They used sun for astronomical observations. The sun temples exist and they do offering to mountains, Pachamama. They believe that Condor will take the soul to the upper world to purification and bring back to the earth for reincarnation.
