Worthy to be a spiritual guru Comments

Subject: Worthy to be a spiritual Guru
Interesting article and need to be aware of pseudo Gurus who themselves may not be enlightened well established. Two more important things that need to be added here: first, to know whether the Guru is enlightened or not what scale can I use? When you mention that watch out for those who may be charming, dashing etc, are we saying that Krishna was not charming, Vivekananda was not dashing? What I want to point out is that only an enlightened one can know the truth, one seeking enlightenment cannot and the outside behaviour of any form can never be an indicator of truth inside. Secondly, when we talk about taking a risk with may be a wrong Guru, what is there to risk? If I give more importance to my worldly pursuits and do not find enlightenment worthy enough to risk them, with the fear that Guru may be wrong, I am not even ready to search for enlightenment. A right disciple can be enlightened even with the wrong Guru! If the disciple is right the right Guru is bound to come, it cannot be otherwise. What is most important is disciples faith. If a disciple can have faith even in a grain of sand and make it his Guru, enlightenment will not be far. Question is: can you have that faith?
