The End of Suffering Comments

Subject: The End of Suffering
The end of suffering can only come if we understand the beginning of suffering.Suffering begins when I start running after experiences of all kinds without experiencing the greatest experience of all-the experience of my own Self. This experience, mind you, doesnt come as an explosion or a big bang but it does so slowly and subtly, day after day increasing at a snails pace but making you more and more aware of your own Presence , your own Existence and your own Being. The paradoxical part is that as your experience of your I becomes stronger your egoistic I becomes weaker and weaker. And one fine morning when you wake up you find that you are not there but your experience of yourself - of your Presence - is so powerful that this entire world vanishes as even your dreams do when you wake up in the morning. This is the ultimate experience of your life which pales all other experiences.Call it enlightenment, awakening or what have you but this is the one experience for which we have come here and without which we all remain incomplete, unfulfilled and utterly miserable.
