The Hidden Jewel of Advaita Comments

Subject: advaita
Om Sai Ram, I read your comments and thoughts on Sadguru Sai Baba, being an advaitin all his life. I am of the same view and infact would like to undertake a PhD research on Shirdi Sai Baba along the lines of Dr Marianne Warrens who established in her doctoral thesis that Sai Baba was a Sufi and got it published under the title Unravelling the Enigma of Shirdi Sai Baba, a Sufi Mystic. I would want to establish that Sai Baba was an advaitin par excellence and his life was a testimony. It may not be wrong to say that he displayed sufistic traits but through and through he is a non-dualist, nay a qualified non-dualist. I am actually groping in the dark as to how to go about doing this thesis. I have some important resource material and am currently involved in translating V.B. Khers Sai Sat Charitas English version into Tamil language. And it is nearing completion under the divine grace and supervision of Shirdi Sai. My earnest wish is to undertake this research project on Shirdi Sai as a labour of love. I thought I found a similar chord running in you as well when I read your short write-up on Shirdi Sai being an advaitin. Hope you get suggestions from you, waiting in anticipation. p.s. anyway, I am a mass communication lecturer in a leading privatge institution in Malaysia. I am a Malaysian, aged 51, married with three children.. Sai Ram
