| I am thinking of practicing as a mental health counselor for an Ayruvedic approach medical clinic. My boss would like me to learn about Ayruvedic and the mind even though I have a MA in traditional counseling/psychology. I love and use alternative approaches to health, but am only yet learning about the Ayruvedic spiritual attitudes. Ive been a loyal member of a fundamental Christian church for many years and want to continue. Would an
Ayruvedic type approach to my own health and to those mental health issues of my clients be in conflict to my own Christian beliefs? (which I dont teach unless asked). I cannot see yet how they would be counter-productive. I am seeking more info but I cannot afford books right now and theres not alot about Aryuveda and the mind in my library.
