| Was is Gods will that David Berkowitz shot people on the orders of a dog, and did these actions help his soul or the world?
I agree that this idea of accepting anything you do as Gods will is very dangerous. I prefer to believe that there are truly enlightened people who worked very hard to achieve that state, even if it ultimately or finally was reached by a cessation of egoic effort, and also to believe that a cessation or lack of effort towards spirituality by ordinary worldly focused people is not productive. In other words, just relaxing ones effort or no effort works not at the beginning but after the hard work of the quest. It is hard work to stop the mind, but after long effort it finally stops, and then the effort must also cease for it is counterproductive-the goal is reached, so let it be.
So after reading this entire article to find out what a WOG is, my guess of white only guru was probably intended but not included by the author, who has great faith in acronymaniacal readers to project something related, possibly unaware that work omitted guru seems more germane, imhuo. |
