| Anjali Mukherjee is one of the biggest quacks in India. A Hotel Mgt graduate from Mumbai, she potrayed herself as a `nutritionist and marketed herself extremely well, resulting in all this hype around her. Truth is at that time, some 15 yrs ago, no one knew what a nutritionist is or what they are supposed to have studied. Now everyone knows. A hotel mgt grad is not a nutritionist. A nutritionist essentially is someone who has done her graduation and post-graduation in nutrition. In countries like UK, a graduation in nutrition is a must bfore pursuing a post-graduation in nutrition/food. However in India even BSC HOME SCIENCE Grads can do MSC nutrition. So one has to be very careful in selecting ones nutritionist. Always choose one with both grad and post-grad in nutrition. |
