Care For a Real Soft Drink? Comments

Subject: Soft Drinks
I just happen to read this artical incidenttaly seaching from some environmntal tool. First i surprised to see the very generalization of an important issue and the authors qualification on attributing a sceintific fact just like that. I was following various articles post this issues and many of these writer simply take the readers for a ride saying it is harmful. Now that question is at what rate of consumption and to what extent. For me excess in take of Ghee, Sweets, Fruits, Rice, Oils and many our daily diet items cause obesity, Diabetes and other diseases. Can we rate them as harmful. Taking tea / Coffee nearly 40 time more caffien in take. Can we rate them as harmful. Writer simply declared that taking cola with cause Cancer. What a joke. can a water with 10gms sugar and 0.0000001 gms flavor (100ml)cause so much problem than 90% sugar sweet or 100% oily food. Just think. Iam not supporting Cola companies. But taking a 300ml soft drink once in while is just fun. But having 5 ltrs of coke every day, i think some intentaionally want to die and this is the same case in other foods also
