From the beginning of the first human settlement we have been aware of specific areas where we do not sleep well and get sick more easily. Such zones are referred to as ‘geopathic stress zones’ or ‘geopathic interference zones.’

The word geopathy comes from the word ‘geo’ meaning Earth and ‘pathos’ meaning disease.  Geopathic stress or harmful earth energies is natural radiation that rises up through the earth and is distorted by weak electromagnetic fields created by subterranean running water, certain mineral concentrations, and geological faults.

How does the stress affect human health?

Human beings can also disturb the Earth’s energies. Quarries, tunnels, mines, polluted water and railway cuttings have all been found to contribute to geopathic stress, which in turn is the most common factor in serious long-term illnesses and psychological conditions. Research has shown that 85 per cent of people suffering from ill health are sleeping in a geopathically stressed area. The same research shows that geopathic stress can cause sleep disturbances, headaches, anxiety and behavioral problems in children. Stronger geopathic stress has been linked to wasting diseases such as motor neuron, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis and even mental disorders, addictions, suicides, depression obsessions, bowel disorders, anxiety, migraines, cot death, infertility and miscarriages.

How does one know that one is suffering from geopathic stress?

The most common indications of geopathic stress are resistance to treatment, feeling run down and exhausted, depression, nervousness,
