Marketing Manager – Books

Job Description :

  • Formulating all ATL & BTL activities, short term and long-term budgets and developing business plans for the achievement of these goals
  • Managing entire publicity and promotional operations with a view to achieve business objectives for a specific title and ensure top line and bottom line profitability
  • Generating leads and capitalizing on corporate sponsorships / partnerships and update the management about performance and facilitate the decision making process
  • Conceptualizing and creating marketing collaterals in line to extend brand awareness and increase visibility for specific titles amongst target audiences
  • Promotion of Life Positive through special events
  • Tracking competitors position in the market, pricing, discounts, promotions and product information through primary and secondary data collection points and preparing quarterly reports
  • Maintaining relationships with key media organizations to generate coverage for books through reviews, author interviews, event coverage etc.
  • Ensuring continuous interaction with the customer to make sure that area of concern can be worked upon for improved service levels and implementing customer retention programme through various schemes.
  • Liaise with media to ensure regular and high coverage for books and authors
  • Coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure smooth planning and execution of launches and events
  • Regular and timely liaising with authors for promotion and publicity plans, queries, and for coordination with the media
  • Preference from the same field with good command over English

Experience: 3-4 yrs

Ad Sales Manager

  • Achieve revenue goals
  • Maximize revenue potential from existing clients as well as developing new advertising clients.
  • To manage sales progress and goals expectations across the regions.
  • Proven experience of media sales including selling print, event and online properties.
  • Proven experience to target clients that align with the product to maximize and deliver targeted
  • Strong negotiating skills and the ability to manage business relationships is paramount.
  • Effective communication skills including excellent presentation skills, and excellent proposal construction skills in English.
  • Self-motivator and must work well independently and with team members.
  • Excellent English skills particularly oral communication, negotiation and presentation skills to constantly promote the company’s services to prospects.Qualification: Must be a graduate or postgraduate
