When I think about God, I vividly picture that one instance of utter horror, this New Year’s Day, when I was caught in a horrendous car accident. No amount of logic or analytical thinking could answer the question – how did I come through it unscathed? The accident was so bad that it took a whole month for the car to come back from the service centre, yet my brother and I were safe and sound barring some minor cuts. It was indeed my rendezvous with God like the ones listed in this compilation. A helping hand here, a miracle there; instances that make you believe in the greater power and its benevolent presence in your life. The realisation intensified with every page turned.

And this is where one can make an instant connect with this book, for we all must have encountered such instances. This compilation by Abhilasha Agarwal and Shreeja Mohatta Jhawar is indeed a salute to the concept of ‘Oneness’ with each experience bringing forth the essence of ‘divine connect’ in simple, no-frills attached vocabulary.
