The project of life

The project of life

May 2016

We have an unusual cover story this month: Project manage your life. The writer of the piece, my colleague  Jamuna Rangachari, who was herself a project manager with a software company before joining Life Positive, proposes that we treat life itself as a massive project that can be managed using the principles of project management. These principles include having a clearcut goal, finetuning one’s solutions and approach to changing circumstances, and finally never stopping until the project has met with the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

What if, Jamuna asks, we  were all clear about what we wanted, and did not stop until we realised it? What if we knew what made us happy and pursued that dream and perhaps other unfolding ones, until we attained that happiness? Surely that would be the hallmark of a successful life? Jamuna  illustrates the point with the life journeys of some remarkable people. So if you would like to project manage your life, check the cover story.
