Life Positive has taught important lessons in patience, dedication, respect and selflessness, says our vice-president

Life Positive is a like a fresh lifegiving breeze that continues to infuse me with power, strength, optimism and courage in my personal and professional lives. When I look back at the 15 years I have been with Life Positive, my heart brims over with love and deep gratitude towards the all-knowing, Almighty God. Working with Life Positive has strengthened the values imparted to me by my parents, two elder brothers, VD Murthy and Sethuraman, and sisters-in-law, Sandhya and Rajini. With every passing day, Life Positive teaches me important lessons in patience, dedication, respect and selfl essness. Life Positive, and what it stands for, gives me courage at every step that I take. It has made me more confi – dent about life and what it has to offer. The time that I have spent here is etched in my memory. I have been around since the inception of the magazine in 1996 and the love readers have for the magazine continues to humble me. It is thanks to my job with LP that I have had the opportunity to meet wonderful people from all walks of life, including CEOs of multinational fi rms, ambassadors and senior bureaucrats.

No one covered spiritual matters before Life Positive appeared on the scene. Thanks to LP’s pioneering efforts, it is a rare magazine, newspaper or channel today that does not cover spirituality in some form. On a more personal front, LP has made me more aware of what I am.

I believe our biggest strength has been our team which has stood united to face all challenges through these years. People joined the team and they left us. Some stayed and are our bulwark against all ups and downs. Thanks to the support from our wonderful team and my wife, Kamala, I am a stronger person today. I thank Mr Aditya Ahluwalia, the publisher, Ms Suma Varughese, the editor-in-chief and Mr Parveen Chopra, former editor, for trusting me for all these years. Thanks also to our president, Mr DR Karthikeyan for guiding and supporting me in all my ventures. And fi nally, hearty thanks to the advertisers and readers who have stood by us all these years.
