A conduit of Gods love

Fascinated by Manisha Gawande’s account of her transcendental experience with Cheryl  Dabhi, Life Positive (Navni Chawla) decides to interview Cheryl and ferret out more  information about her life, times, and spiritual philosophy 

After the article, Face-to-Face with  God, on Cheryl Dabhi in the  November issue of Life Positive was published, the official inbox of LP was flooded with enquiries from curious  readers inquiring about her. Inspired,  we decided to interview Cheryl once  more (She was first covered in 2015 by  Editor Shivi Verma) to give our readers  a closer glimpse of the phenomenon  called Cheryl Dabhi. 

I contacted Cheryl on the phone, and  she was more than happy to share about  herself with the readers. We met online.  

Looking into her shiny eyes and being  in the presence of her beaming aura, I  could not wait and dived straight into a  

conversation with her. 

When one’s consciousness is rising, one prioritises  themself without feeling guilty. Their self-love grows  so much that even the anxiety of treading into the  unknown disappears.

Navni: What are the signs one could observe  within when their consciousness starts  rising? 

Cheryl: The first and foremost sign is that  people start becoming very comfortable within  themselves. They feel deeply connected with  their inner Self. Another sign is that people  become less reactive to disturbances, and even  the overthinking of the mind stops. Also, they  start to lose some compulsive, unhealthy habits.  They start to feel happy within and without  the need for any external stimuli; there is less  dependence on the outside. Some people also  shift from being people-pleasers to becoming  independent of other people’s opinions.  Another sign is that people start getting a lot of  clarity to make their own decisions.

Navni: What is the antidote to overthinking? Cheryl: One needs to go to the root of  overthinking. But what immediately breaks  overthinking is anchoring yourself within  your deep, quiet, and secure space. Simply  saying words like ‘I don’t care’ can make you  feel powerful over the situation or the person  you are overthinking about. But this requires a  

very strong and sturdy sense of self or identity.  It comes with constant practice. Especially  when one goes through chakra activation, their  aura starts changing. It starts flowering. 

Navni: Our desires make us manifest. But  when we do not see the expected things in  our reality, we feel disappointed, frustrated,  and even sad, and push the thing we desire  even further away. How can one escape this  vicious cycle? 

Cheryl: The secret here is to become happy  and whole from within first before associating  it with a desire. Firstly, this thought makes you  independent, and secondly, your whole focus  shifts from all other things and people in the  outside world to yourself. I have observed in  my workshops that people start experiencing  feelings of love more often. They also feel that  their anger is diminishing and other negative  feelings are fading away. So, the more they are  in the frequency of feeling good, the easier it  is to manifest. In my workshop on Mastering  Manifestation, I take my participants to a  place from where they can manifest anything  they want with ease and joy. 

Navni: Why do we need a workshop like  Mastering Manifestation? 

Cheryl: Many times, we go through life asking  questions that we never find answers to. When  we intently learn the process of learning to

manifest, we go through a self-transformation  journey. And during that travel, we discover  some simple yet powerful truths. Some deep  understandings of life and the mysterious ways  in which the Universe works are also revealed  to us. This truth and understanding frees us of  our pain. 

Navni: How can manifestation become easy  for someone who has a lot of self-doubt? Cheryl: I strongly recommend my Chakra  Activation workshop, which removes all the self esteem and self-worth issues very quickly from  one’s being. In my Mastering Manifestation  workshop, I give my participants the concept  of ‘spiritual currency,’ which overrides all the  self-doubts that one feels. Spiritual currency is  the account of our good deeds, or punyas, in this  lifetime and the past ones. At different stages of  the workshop, I have seen people experiencing  different changes within themselves, especially  becoming fearless at some point. 

Navni: What is ‘God’s love’ for you? I have  been hearing about it. Can you describe it to  our readers? 

Cheryl: It is hard to define it, as to define is to  limit. And God’s love is limitless. God created  the Creation, and then the Creation started  creating itself. God released potent seeds of  life and the universe, and then they started  manifesting themselves as stars, moons,  planets, and galaxies. And then, when humans  were created, they started desiring and creating  more things. I believe that Creation creates  itself. And allowing this Creation to create  itself is God’s love. Because it takes a lot of love  to accept situations that you don’t like right  now and live with non-resistance, which is the  ultimate truth to manifesting. God’s love is  

so unconditional that our limited humanness  cannot even comprehend it. God’s love is  absolutely infinite and infinitely absolute. 

Navni: How can one get a glimpse of this  God’s love? 

Cheryl: I have been gifted with the capacity to  take people into a state of trance. Most idols of  Indian gods and goddesses or even the statue  of Buddha and Mahavir have a flower symbol  where the heart is situated. Similarly, as human  beings, we also carry the seed of God in our  sacred heart, or Antar, as I call it. This Antar  is that space that holds God’s energy in us. In  many scriptures, it is referred to as the temple  of God. It is a spiritual energy portal and not  a physical one that connects us to the higher  realm. So, when I take people into a trance,  they taste Godliness within in a few minutes.  

Cheryl did a 10-minute exercise with me. She  made me tap and pinch certain points on my arm  and neck. Once my awareness was established on  my Antar, she asked me to experience what she calls  the divine darkness. And as I reached the divine  darkness, she repeated a few instructions along  with the chant ‘God’s love.’ I could feel the calm  wash over me. I felt like I had rested deeply for  several hours in those ten minutes. Once I opened  my eyes, even the colour of my face changed; it  started glowing. 

Post this trance meditation, we continued our  conversation.Cheryl also revealed a secret to me.  She said that when she takes her participants into a  trance, she takes them to a spiritual realm. It is the  space we go to after we die. She also said that in that  space, one can meet their favourite gods, goddesses,  and favourite spiritual parents, ancestors, etc. This  incredible revelation by her stirred my mind and  triggered another question. 

Navni: What led you to this point where you  can connect with higher realms so easily?  What is the essence of your journey? Cheryl: Since my childhood, I have been  conversing with God. I also feel I have the gift  of listening to him. I was very naturally pulled  to Jesus Christ’s consciousness, and I call  Jesus my spiritual parent. I also connect with  Maa Amba, being a Gujarati. I can experience  their presence in my life so strongly and even  converse with them. I always had a deep urge to  serve and help people. I desperately wanted to  learn to heal. I internally had some knowledge  of healing people. I started with learning Reiki  healing and Pranic healing. I remember an  incident, where a lady came to me with an

issue, seeking my help, and I had no solution  for it. I sought out God so that I could somehow  help her. And a prayer downloaded in my heart  about spiritual accountancy. I was in a state of  trance and could not physically write it down  at that time. So I asked a friend to pen it down.  I also got an insight that I must add two lines  about ancestors in the prayer. Today, I call it  God’s love prayer, and it is an integral part of  my courses.  

I also received a technique to help others  along with the prayer. I started chanting this  prayer very often. I would also slip into a  trance while doing it. After some time, I got a  deep spiritual inner calling to attain moksha  (liberation) while still living on earth. I said  these words aloud, and I could feel the fire in  my belly and, in fact, in every part of me. I

when you have a divine  knowing, no information  is misunderstood or  misinterpreted. 

precisely remember that after that moment of extreme anger, there was a shift. That shift was  a breakthrough for me. I knew my awareness  

had transcended the physical plane. Here was  

my time of enlightenment, and I did not even  

realise it at that time. I would not have even  

remembered the word ‘enlightenment’ until  

someone who heard my story said it. And that’s  

when I realised I was looking for that word. 

But today, when I look back, I can connect the  

dots. I also learned from God that everything  

is true from a spiritual wide angle. I have a  

faint memory of four blurry months as I was  

going through a deep transformation which  

was coupled with memory loss. My tongue had  

forgotten to speak. I could see and recognise  

things but could not recall their names. I lost  

all my vocabulary. One day, I woke up and  

saw Jesus. Guilt crept into my heart that on  

the one hand I was experiencing God and on  

the other, I had forgotten about Jesus, my best  

friend. It jolted me. After I was pacified by his

quietness, I heard him tell me “You have fulfilled  my life’s purpose.” I was in tears, and the whole  reality of Jesus came into my perspective. My real  aha moment was realising that Jesus was there  with me all this while, helping me connect with  the ultimate truth or God. 

Navni: Does God have a language in which you  hear him speak? 

Cheryl: God doesn’t have a language as such but  his voice is like a ‘knowing.’ It is a clear and precise  knowing. Another thing is that when you have a  divine knowing, no information is misunderstood  or misinterpreted. 

Navni: What is the crux of your workshops? Cheryl: I want to teach all my participants to  increase their spiritual currency and earn punyas in a jiffy. I want to make people realise that they  have access to all the abundance in this world. I  want them to know through my workshops that  life could be so easy when you don’t focus on other  people. I work on emotions like insecurity, anger,  jealousy, fear, etc. with my participants so that they  become light and free of their burdens. I believe  in the exponential growth of all my participants. I  push them to be better and better. 

Navni: How does one have absolute clarity of  what they want to manifest? 

Cheryl: I urge my participants to fearlessly and  shamelessly ask the Universe for everything that  they desire. I don’t ask them to pick and choose  because they can have it all. I expect them to be  so focussed on themselves and happy within, that  they don’t go after chasing clarity. Rather, things  are put into perspective about what they need and  want the most in life automatically. 

As we come close to the end of our conversation,  I realise that this beautiful lady with curly hair  and a big, bright smile is not an ordinary person  

and has a higher purpose in life. Cheryl is here  on a mission on earth to connect people with God.  Someone who knew Cheryl communicated with  Sai Baba and gave her his message that she has  been blessed and carries divine grace. Sai Baba  said that wherever Cheryl will summon him, he  will come, and, wherever Cheryl will ask him to  stay, he will be present. 

“The whole Universe is a divine dance, and when  you throw a zing of romance into it, it becomes an  activated dance. True spirituality is a celebration  of life,” she says lovingly, before signing off.
