Edit Speak What to do with feelings
November 2015
Learning to handle your feelings is a long journey. Most of us are even unaware that there is such a journey until we set foot on the spiritual path. At that stage, we are out of touch with our feelings and it takes a movement into the inner world to recognise them and give them permission to slowly unfurl. Even so, coming to terms with them is yet another matter. To accept our feelings, especially the ones society frowns upon such as anger, greed, lust and hate are so fraught with tension that it takes many years on the spiralling carousal of evolution for us to get comfortable owning them. Our cover story explores the trajectory of the feeling journey and will hopefully inspire you to move forward on your own journey of feelings.
All of us come to Planet Earth without really knowing why. We bumble through life and exit it in the same haze of uncertainty and confusion. However, those whose lives are a shining example of inspiration and achievements, whose stature soars far above the common herd, are undeniably those who have found their purpose in life – that special something they were born to do. When that is discovered, passion and mission fuse with energy, focus becomes single-minded, and the individual becomes mighty. We have an article inside on the subject.
This month the Life Positive Expo visits Mumbai, the Maximum City. For me, the Mumbai Expo is always a little special because Mumbai is where I live, so I have a great sense of ownership over the Mumbai Expo. It therefore gives me greater joy than usual to extend a hearty invitation to all of you to join up as delegates, take a stall at the Expo, or at the least come and patronise the exhibition and enjoy the free events.
Have a great month.
