The sky’s the limit

Dear Reader, 

No matter how rational or practical we might think ourselves to be,  there always comes a time when we are forced to consider the other  side of life. 

Whenever this happens, whether by chance or by divine design, it  compels us to open our minds to the world lying beyond our five  senses. Regardless of how hard the scientific community tries to  shame human beings into becoming perfectly rational zombies, cut  off from anything mystical or metaphysical, so far, it has not been  able to accomplish this goal. 

Our spiritual mind, which is far bigger, kicks in sooner or later,  and we start getting thrilled and stimulated by the possibilities of  expansion, soul growth, and bringing down the walls that separate  us from our divine and limitless potential. 

The study of horoscopes and zodiac signs is considered a  pseudoscience by many, but it has in no way diminished the interest  of ordinary people in it. It shows that human beings like the idea  of being linked to bigger things in the cosmos. That they are not  isolated but connected with the multiverse and, in many ways, cared  for by higher powers. The presence of shamans, psychics, mediums,  ayahuasca ceremonies, and even the use of psychedelic drugs tell us  that there is an innate desire in humans to transcend their physical  reality and tap into bigger, celestial timelines. 

The catch over here is how to strike a balance between these two  worlds. While it is advisable to not dismiss our connection with other  dimensions, it’s not very prudent to be so lost in this pursuit that one  loses touch with ground reality. Man’s spiritual journey is a cycle of  sorts. First, he is sceptical of divinity and the multidimensionality  of life, then he becomes curious and begins to explore it with a  ceaseless, single-minded focus, and in the third stage, he comes back  to the physical world, living the regular life but with a heightened  awareness of his higher purpose.
