A STABLE MIND

A STABLE MIND

Dear Reader,

How many of you have stopped watching TV news simply because you cannot distinguish right from wrong in the din of raised voices and verbal onslaughts of panellists on each other? The truth is disproportionately distorted, and clever mind games are employed to paint facts in a light which is suitable to the narrator’s perspective. In such a scenario, the watcher loses their power to discern and falls in a state of intellectual despair.

Is there a way we can find our centre and get our sense of discernment back? Where, no matter what happens, our mind does not waver from the truth our inner light is pointing towards? The heart knows what the mind does not. The mind has to be rationally convinced and brought in alignment with the knowledge the heart already possesses. And nothing does this better than the sparkling wisdom of Vedanta.

Poornima Coontoor, the quintessential seeker of truth, after an extensive study of Vedanta, has distilled the pure knowledge embedded in it and presented it in a crystalline manner before the readers of Life Positive for all ambiguity to finally dissolve in the effulgent light of Truth. The lead story for February is on Dharma, Adharma, and Swadharma: three magical concepts based on spiritual principles that are supposed to straighten your life and fill you with a sense of fulfilment and gratitude, should you decide to embrace them.

Apart from this, we have another enlightening article written eloquently by Anuradha Iyer on the message of the Bhagavad Gita. I am sure the February issue will quench your spiritual thirst and make you feel whole and complete from within.

Wishing you happy reading.
