Pause and reflect
Dear Reader,

Though the October issue was supposed to be the last printed copy of Life Positive, we realised that we had enough paper left to bring out yet another physical copy of the magazine.

So here we are once again.

The lead story for November is on the virtue of introspection and how it is crucial for anyone wishing to lead a meaningful life.

So often, we are at the crossroads. Our heart wants one thing, but pragmatism points towards another. Our current state may rebel against our dreams and aspirations. Confounding situations might confront us repeatedly, making us wonder where we are going wrong. In such times, introspection makes us look at all sides of a situation and take appropriate action. It is the hallmark of an action-oriented person who values the opportunity of life and does not wish to squander it. Soul-searching is about taking a deep, honest look at ourselves, our mental and emotional constructs, our options, our failings and our strengths, and then making prudent choices. Furthermore, it also does the noble work of bringing us closer to ourselves, which is a wonderful state to be in. Enjoy the article, and do let us know if it has enriched your life.

In November, we worship the goddess of wealth. However, we need to redefine what wealth consists of. The article Rich Dad, Spiritual Dad takes a broad-minded look at the concept of plenitude and how it can imbue our lives with contentment and felicity.
