Come alive with mudras
Abhay Kumar Shah shows us some mudras to help us enhance our beauty

Winter has arrived, and everyone is concerned about skin dryness, hair fall, etc. Today, I am going to share some beauty tips from Mudra Vijnana, which maintains that beauty is more than skin-deep. A person who is healthy and bubbling with energy is always considered a beautiful person regardless of skin tone and body proportions. I have included this perspective too in today’s article.

For cracked skin
Prithvi Mudra
(16 minutes)
Touch the tip of the thumb to the tip of the ring finger, keeping the remaining three fingers comfortably straight. Do it with both hands. Place the back of the palms on the thighs or knees.

Varun Mudra (16 minutes)
Touch the tip of the little finger to the tip of the thumb. Keep the remaining three fingers comfortably straight. Do it with both hands. Place the back of the palms on the thighs or knees.

This same combination can be useful for getting rid of acne and pimples. It works well for anaemia too.

For dry skin: to enhance the glow
Varun Mudra (16 to 30 minutes)

Apan Mudra (16 minutes)
Touch the tips of the middle and the ring fingers to the tip of the thumb. Keep the remaining two fingers comfortably straight. Do it with both hands. Place the back of the palms on the thighs or knees.

For unhealthy nails
Dry, brittle, and coarse nails are a manifestation of poor health. This can be rectified by:

Prithvi Mudra (16 minutes)
Varun Mudra (16 minutes)

For poor hair growth

The growth and health of the hair are dependent on the Prithvi element. Boosting this element can resolve problems of hair loss, greying, and weak hair. The best combination for overcoming hair issues is:

Prithvi Mudra (48 minutes), immediately followed by:

Prana Mudra (16 minutes)

Touch the tips of the ring and the little fingers to the tip of the thumb. Keep the remaining two fingers comfortably straight. Do it with both hands. Place the back of the palms on the thighs or knees.

For dull eyes

Dry eyes can rob all the beauty from one’s face. To enhance the shine of the eyes, the following mudras are very useful:

Prana Mudra (16 minutes)

Soorya Mudra (16 minutes)

Touch the tip of the ring finger to the root of the thumb. Keep the remaining three fingers comfortably straight. Do it with both hands. Place the back of the palms on the thighs or knees.

Jnana Mudra (16 minutes)

Touch the tip of the index finger to the tip of the thumb. Keep the remaining three fingers comfortably straight. Do it with both hands. Place the back of the palms on the thighs or knees.

Samana Mudra (10 minutes).

Touch the tips of all five fingers forming a bud. Do it with both hands, and place them gently on your eyes. If necessary, give support to your elbows.
